o We provide functional assessment and treatment services for those suffering from physical injuries sustained at work, automobile collisions, sports, and other life activities.

- Health and fitness

o We provide health and wellness programs for all age groups.

- Exercise therapy

o We provide exercise and lifestyle-based services to enhance the lives of those suffering from chronic diseases.

- Disability/case/health and safety management

o We provide services to facilitate a safe return to work and improve other activities of daily living.

Some objectives a Kinesiologist can help you achieve include:

- Injury prevention

- Active injury rehabilitation

- Physical preparedness (whether for sport or activities of daily life)

- Sport performance

- Postural education

- Core and balance training

- Strength and conditioning

What to expect during a Kinesiology assessment and treatment?

On your first visit you can expect a thorough assessment of your chief complaint including functional movement testing, strength testing, and assessing range of motion. The kinesiologist will obtain a full history related to your issue including past injuries and current health conditions, while working to identify your goals and outline a treatment plan specifically tailored to your needs. Each session will include a supervised exercise program to target your chief complaint. Whether you are looking for a gym or home-based program, with or without weights, we can help you create a safe and effective program to achieve your goals.

What should I wear?

It is best to wear loose, breathable clothing and shoes where you will be able to complete a range of exercises in a comfortable manner.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing that dates back over one hundred years. The practitioner uses gentle hand positions down the patient’s body, helping to balance the flow of energy and encourage the patient’s own self healing.
Some potential benefits of Reiki:
• Promotes relaxation
• Reduces depression and anxiety
• Aids in better sleep
• Encourages a meditative state
• Helps to relieve pain and stress
• Promotes natural self-healing
What to expect from your Reiki treatment:
You will lie face-up on the massage table for the entire treatment, covered by a blanket. You can either be fully clothed or undress to your comfort level. The reiki practitioner will gently place their hands, palm side down, on or just above your body in specific energy locations. Starting from the head and moving down the body towards the feet, a series of 12-15 different hand positions will be used. There is no massage, pressure, or manipulation involved.

Tui Na massage can be applied in a variety of ways depending on the principle of treatment. For example, Elbow Tui Fa (pushing) applied lightly or deeply to specifics points can release the channel and tension in muscles. Alternatively, the technique of Rou Fa (kneading), applied with the palm of the hand gently, slowly and in a clockwise direction for 5 minutes over the abdominal points will tonify and warm the Stomach and Spleen. The same technique applied vigorously, briskly and in an anti-clockwise direction at a sinew channel binding area will release and relax the muscles, tendons and ligaments, and move stagnant Qi and Blood.

Tui Na has the ability to:
- Promote and invigorate the flow of Qi and Blood (beneficial for constipation, insomnia, headaches, muscle tension etc.)
- Expel, clear, dissipate and dredge pathogenic factors
- Regulate, nourish and strengthen Qi and Blood
- Improve and regulate the functions of the internal organs
- Release and relax the channel sinews (a concept similar to fascia)
- Lubricate and facilitate the movement of joints
- Soothe Qi (stuck or holding energy) and calm the Shen (mind)

Cupping is a Traditional Chinese Medicine technique used to promote circulation, reduce stress, detoxify, release the fascia, and in many cases relieve pain from stagnation.
Depending on principle treatment plan, I’ll either use one or all of these three techniques:
- Sliding cups (cupping which glide along meridians and muscle groups)
- Stationary cups (cupping which pull out deep seated stagnation
- Flash cupping (cupping which warm up the channel; quick stimulation to move Qi or stasis by consecutive and rapid removal of the cup).

This led her to study at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, where she graduated in August of 2021. Jess seeks to holistically integrate these systems in her approach to massage therapy. By considering mental, physical and spiritual health in her treatments, she hopes to promote mind-body integration in those with injuries, chronic pain and stress. Come, take her hand, and experience where Recovery meets Rebirth.

The time which Nikita spent learning about the nervous system whilst working with a body-based therapist revolutionized the lens through which she experiences life and continues to inform her kinesiology practice. Her somatic and trauma-informed practice shifts the client away from a conventionally prescriptive and often disempowering experience of medical care towards a humanizing and potentiating rehabilitation experience.

Her vision is to help clients cultivate the capacity for growth & healing through movement-based education, because we humans depend on having an adaptable, powerful, and reliable vessel to carry out our soul’s greatest purpose. She knows, both experientially and through witnessing this in her practice, that being stuck managing the effects of dysfunction drains energy that is required to live a life that feels truly fulfilling. She helps clients shift from solely existing–feeling disconnected, numb, burnout, stuck, and uncomfortable–towards feeling alive, again.

As a team, you will begin by assessing the extent of your complaint. The root causes then inform the scaffolding for the program you co-create. An emotion-positive container is actively fortified allowing any psychosomatic components to your issue to be witnessed and integrated–stagnant energies and stories that are no longer serving you can be released. This process allows the program to shape-shift as you progressively settle deeper into your body.

All humans have the capacity for wellness, healing, and growth, despite the adversities we face. As a former national team athlete and current RCC, I have a unique understanding of the psychological pressures that coincide with sport-participation and managing difficult emotions. I also enjoy working with a diverse range of clients (14+) and couples to address a variety of concerns. These areas may include, but are not limited to, challenges with performance and social anxiety, depression, trauma/abuse, relational conflict, grief/loss, and disordered eating/RED-S.

My skillset helps clients rediscover their pre-existing strengths in order to create new or more useful ways of coping with the distress they may be experiencing. Often, this includes exploring the root of your discomfort in order to consider its influence on your current state of being, and the direction/pace of where you want to go.

Drawing on client centered, collaborative, & strength-based approaches, I bring a refreshing mix of patience, compassion, curiosity, and humour to each individually tailored session. My goal is to facilitate a space that feels safe enough to engage in difficult conversations, yet familiar enough to genuinely understood, accepted, and capable of creating meaningful change.
